by the way the book of mormon is not another bible, it is an another testament of Jesus Christ. it also compliments the bible and the bible compliments it. in the bible, it talks about the stick of judah(bible) and the stick of Joseph(book of mormon) in Ezekiel 37:15-22

Religion is a personal choice. If you are going to be a Mormon, be a good Mormon and follow the precepts of your faith.

Since you are on here, I would suggest that you be open minded to what is being said about your faith, and to ignore the blatantly hateful remarks from believers and non-believers alike. Truth has a way of being exposed, even through our own perceptions and beliefs. I used to be Catholic, for example. I heard from others and knew in my heart that some things just didn't add up. The search for truth lead me beyond the "religious" doctrine and dogma to the person of Jesus Christ. He IS the way, truth, and life.

You have chosen... wisely.

Read the scriptures. Pray always. Love your neighbor as yourself. Love God. Follow the counsel of your leaders. Be the best Mormon you can be. Share your testimony that Jesus is the Christ, God lives, and there are prophets on the earth today.

Seek your answer in "The Bible" and I think your answer will appear quickly, look at the last few lines in Rev Chapter 22, vereses

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Wow, not all that many questions yet and just as I thought, almost everyone said, "Stop being a Mormon" and some immature jokes about LSD and Moron.

The same answer I give to anyone else who has a set of beliefs: Challenge your beliefs. Make them hold up to scrutiny. Learn why other believe what they do, accept some, discard some... but don't be foolish enough to believe that anybody has it right.

Praise the Lord you believe in God. However, you're in the wrong faith. Read your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you to the one and true Church.

God Bless!

Marrying one woman is hard enough. If you have to get married, have one and be done with it.

...and yes, I know that mainstream mormons do not practise poligamy.
