When's the best time of the year to schedule a flight from the Midwest U.S. to Berlin, Germany?

Specifically, I plan to travel to the U.S., fly out of Chicago's O'Hare Airport, and arrive in Berlin. When are flights cheapest? Also, what are some good places to find inexpensive airline tickets?

Flights from the US to Germany are usually always full year round because Germany is a hub. Frankfurt is more popular that Berlin, so you should call the airline you want to fly with to be sure.

Usually anytime between late October to early May is not as crowded, because that is their off season.

check out travelosity(spellcheck) expedia, is another i dont know if they do international , also check the weather channel for european weather and maybe that will help you since you leaving out of chicago do you live there if so you are used to cold id go when its warmer like spring so you wont be cold still when you want to go on a vacation . by the way you must have been planning this for a while based on your other questions some are funny about germany ,,, have fun and dont stick your finger in your nose

January or February are pretty cheap, since winter is a ***** and tourists don't usually fly there then.
Try to book on a European based airline, that should save you quite a bit of $$$$
Definitely do not fly American, Continental or Delta, they are ridiculously overpriced.

Cheapest? that would be during Spring break. tickets, hotels, and baisically everything is cheaper because its not tourist season
