Smoking will add stress and anxiety..it's a stimulant that creates a false sense of calm that doesn't last. The harm smoking causes to your body will make you less healthy in every area.

Take time for you. Try meditating. Working out. Do whatever you like to do while trying to clear your mind of whatever problems at the same time.

Cigarette smoking is a hard habit to kick, and very expensive too.
See a doctor if you feel that your anxiety cannot be controlled.

Absolutely not! It would actually make you less able to deal with stress because you are so dependant on cigarettes to do it.

A good breathing exercise for this is to breath in, until you feel you can't possibly breathe in anymore, and then breathe out very, very slowly, until there is nothing left to breathe out. Then repeat.

Also, try joining a gym, or going running. This usually gets the stress out for me. Also: Dairy Queen Blizzards.

Proper diet and exercise will help. You think you're stressed now? Just start smoking and get cancer, then see how stressed you'll get.
