Learn to spell and to form a coherent sentence and then maybe, just maybe, some of us will take your concerns seriously. Until then, get used to being treated like a retarded 6 year old...

People are basically good they just don't take the time to read and get educated on a subject before they open their mouths.

If you will allow me to enlighten people on Islam:

1. Muslims believe in an almighty, all-know-ing, loving God.
2. Muslims believe in the final judgment. They accept the fact that human beings are morally responsible for their actions.
3. Muslims believe in a final resurrection from the dead at the Messiah's return.
4.Muslims give great emphasis to assisting and helping the poor.
5. Muslims place priority on prayer.
6. Muslims forbid alcohol, gambling, and pork.
7. Muslims place emphasis on obedience to God.
8. Muslims believe in a great controversy between good and evil.

Some Muslim Beliefs contrary to Biblical thought and Bible texts to meet them:

1. Jesus is a prophet but not the eternal Son of God. (see John 8:58 compare with Exodus 3:14, Hebrews 1:6-8, Micah 5:2, Isaiah 9:6)
2. The Bible is not really reliable since it is filled with human error and has not been copied accurately. (See 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21, Psalms12:6,7, Matthew 24:35, Psalms 119:105)
3. Salvation is attained by following the five religious duties of Islam (See Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1,2, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8, Hebrews 2:8,9, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 3:13)
4. Revelations through Mohammed supersede the Bible. They provide a source of salvation. (See John 17:17, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 45:22)

That's nice, but I've studied the religion. Its not really all that much different than Christianity, but i really don't like that Muslim men think that muslim women should be covered from head to foot while they can walk around it just shorts. I also don't like that women are blamed when they are raped, and that there has to be at least two witnesses when a woman accuses a man of anything. Sorry, but I refuse to be property.

I agree on how you feel... i think that it DOES have to do with the media and what we see and hear... ppl always judge before getting to know. Its the same thing with religion, politics, social status and also the way we look... Ppl are so close-minded that they dont give anything or anyone a chance...

I know, I am protestant, but I listen to them preaching tolerance, and I know Islam does too. It is all propaganda to make Bush not look as stupid for starting a war on Iraq, Iran, etc. I believe he only went in to seize the oil, a plan that did not work. But painting you/them as America-hating terrorists, that is too much to believe. Listen, learn, each religion has something to add to the big picture of what god truly is.

i am not hate full, but i also know relatively little about Islam. unfortunately, Islam has a problem with extremists, and that has painted a very bad picture for it. i know the media lies about everyone...that's why i am very skeptical. but i am educated enough to know very well that the religion of Islam doesnt say that one must murder innocent civilians/be a terrorist.

What the media shows is the negative side of life. If you only rely on them to make choices for you, you'll never know the true meaning of anything.

People fear what they do not understand.
Many are brainwashed by their current religion (I won't name any names) into thinking said religions are evil, though they are not. But they won't even give them a chance. They just make assumptions. And we all know what happens when you assume....You make an A$$ out of U and Me.

You are epitomizing the word 'hypocrisy' by posting this opinion... Generalizing humans, as if all of us judge... You make me feel smart!
