I don't think so. God has a hand in everything on this earth. As long as you practice in a positive manner, you are aligned with the Love and Light of the Universe.

Peace!

If someone is practicing witchcraft they do not necessarily believe in the Christan God. They are worshiping a God or Goddess. So I guess the answer is yes...but for those that practice witchcraft it doesn't matter, they are making there own God or Goddess happy.

Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary defines witchcraft as “communication with the devil.” It would be hard to find a witch today who would agree with this definition, for many do not accept even the existence of Satan the Devil.

The Bible, however, makes no distinction between magic that is good and magic that is evil. In the Law given to Moses, God made his position quite clear. He said: “You must not practice magic.” (Leviticus 19:26) We also read: “There should not be found in you . . . a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium.”—Deuteronomy 18:10, 11.

Why did God say that? It is not because he intends to deny us what is beneficial. Jehovah gave these laws to his people because he loved them and did not want them to become enslaved by fear and superstition. Instead, he invites his servants to approach him for the things they need. He is the Giver of “every good gift and every perfect present.” (James 1:17) The apostle John assured fellow believers: “Whatever we ask we receive from [God], because we are observing his commandments and are doing the things that are pleasing in his eyes.”—1 John 3:22.

This is such a stupid question. Is Native American Spirituality against God? How about Taoism, Buddism, Hoodo Root Work, Jewish Mysticism? Even if you are a Satanist it is ok because the one thing in common that they all have is trying to connect to the divine as they perceive it. Praying to a Christian God or doing a spell are the same thing. It is an attempt to manipulate nature and its energy. If we stop condemning spiritual practices and open our minds to the diversity of it all we would be surprised to find all the similarities that exist.

Witchcraft is from Satan, not God. The Bible even talks about this

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, “Let no one be found among you who… practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells…Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD...”

Witchcraft is a religious practice. If you are pagan or wiccan then it's a practice of your beliefs. These rituals require a true respect and are not to be played with lightly. It seems to me that if you wish to practice such religious rituals you must first believe, respect, and honor them. If you are a Christian then it seems you don't respect the purpose for these rituals and therefore should not be practicing them. Are they against the Christian God? I wouldn't know, I don't study Christianity. These two worlds do not seem to work together very well. One must choose.

Witchcraft isn't against God. God is against witchcraft.

Since you wrote "God" instead of "god", the answer is yes.
God with a capital "G" means the One God (whichever supreme being you choose, but one who is the deity of a monotheistic religion). Witchcraft, on the other hand, to be practiced devoutly, requires a belief in many gods.
Believing in many gods is against any monotheistic "God"

If you mean the God of the Bible, then yes, it does go against him. God specifically told us in the Bible to stay away from witchcraft. But if you mean a different God, no clue.

Witchcraft is too general a term. Moses in the old testament practiced magic. (the pharoah threw his staff down and it turned into a snake. Moses did the same and his snake ate the pharoah's to show that his magic was greater.) So once again, I say that it's not magic that is good or evil, but what you do with it.

Yes. The idea of witchcraft comes from Satan, and should not be practiced.
