If this guy that is 3-4 years older than someone and they flirt with them,does that mean they like them?

Ok I'm a sophmore in high school and I know a guy who is going to be a freshman in college and we were hanging out for a week.I like this guy a lot,but some people think I'm too immature for him.Well,we were sorta flirting with each other over that week and he hugged me pretty much everyday.Not a big deal for most people,but I'm not used to the attention.Also,my dad found out and usually he'd go off because I'm the baby girl and for that matter the only girl so my dad is very protsctive.I think this guy likes me,but I don't know and I don't want to ask him because I've been hurt so many times.What should I do!?

Pursue. When I was a freshman in college, I wasn't that different from a sophomore in high school. 3-4 years is nothing.
