Is summer better than school?

summer is nice because there's no homework, but all my friends are at school and it's less boring

I like the first week of summer cuz it is a nice break from school. But then it gets boring when all ur friends go out of town and when they are finally back in town, you are off to a family reunion where you gotta spend a week with cousins you have never seen before or aunts who just love pinching your cheeks.

No Homework/schoolwork
More free time
When you get burnt, less people need to see you

Cons:
See your friends less often
Less people to harass
You eat more because of boredom
Get yelled at more by your parents
The school expects you to spend half of your summer getting ready for the next year (example:reading books that are suggested (as if))
In the end, you'll probably get burnt, anyways.

I have homework during summer because I am in AP classes. I have to read 5 novels this summer and do worksheets on them. Summer gets boring after the first month. School gets boring after the first month too, lol. We should go to school one month, then one month off, then school one month, then one month off, and so on.

After High School, I'm in college all year round plus working full time >> the only thing that affects me is the hot sun in the Southwest during the Summer.
