Go to "start".."run"..type in msconfig then click on "startup"..uncheck anything slowing your system down then click on "Services" and do the same...then you'll have to reboot...when system reboots it will prompt you about the changes you made...just check the box on the bottom left side saying..."don't show this message again"
That should solve your problem...Good luck

It's most unlikely a Malware problem, cause it would effect the computer as a whole.
Since the other accounts work fine and fast, it must be something related to your account only. Like a program you are using that the others don't. It is not uncommon for a legit program to cause these kinds of problems that are thought to be Malware infections.
You need to stop the programs you are using and see if the problem clears. Stop the programs one at a time. When the problems clears, its probably the program you just stopped. Be aware that a combination of programs can cause this kind of problem also. If you find that two different programs running at the same time, causes your problem, you will have to turn one off while using the other.

If it is running slow, there is a good possibility that you have spyware on your computer. I recommend that you get a a spyware sweeping program like Spysweeper or Norton Internet Security. A quick scan should clear up the spyware and increase speed. If this isn't the problem, it may be that since it is your main user account, you might have too many things installed on it. When lots of things are installed on one account, they usually only affect that account, and cannot be used on other accounts. That would mean that only the account with lots of things installed would be slower. Try uninstalling some of the big programs (such as any games), and install them on other accounts to balance it out.

the main account probably has too many processes running, go to the main account and try to end some useless processes with the task manager (Crtl + Alt + Delete).

You can deleted unnecessary software.. And also you can prevent some programs working at the same time. Check your system tray, there shouldn't be so many unneeded programs.
Defrag your Hard disk too.
