Truth be told you don't truly need to find a religion that's right for you.

What you need is a personal relationship with God (My Heavenly Father),

How?

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean NOT to THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING, in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path."

Why is it not working for you? That is where you need to start. Is it the churches teachings that are not working for you or is it the environment and the people that are not working? Look for the truth you will know it when you find it. When you leave a faith understand fully what you are leaving and when you join a new faith understand fully what you are joining. What are the beliefs of these faiths. Do they seem true to you. Don't base it on the choir, the seats or the sermons. What is this faith really about. Try reading Dr.Scott Hahns Conversion Testimony. He is a former Presbyterian Minister.

You have to study different religions and find the one that most closely relates to what you believe. It was a several year process for me, but I found the one where I feel accepted and closely relates to my personal beliefs. You can try going to different places of worship and asking people there questions, looking up information on the internet, or even find books at the library.

Considering that the Presbyterian church just thumbed it's nose at the Bible, I can see why you are disatisfied. Find a local Calvary Chapel.

what is it about christianity that's not doing it for you? religion isn't a passive thing, it takes effort. However, if you haven't submitted your life and asked Jesus Christ to be your lord and savior, you do not have a relationship with God. Pray to God and ask him to come into your heart and show you how to submit your life to him through Jesus. Ask him to draw you nearer to him, ask him to increase your faith in him, ask him to open your eyes and your heart to him. He will. Then find yourself a church that teaches the word directly from the bible. Keep looking until you find one that makes sense. Pray for God to direct your steps. He will. God Bless, Diana

In your heart! Go with your feelings and at least if they let you down they will teach you something in the process!

The religion that is right for you is the one God wants for you, whether it "feels good" or not. Check out the LIBRARY at http://www.catholic.com/default.asp and look at others, too.
