These plants are highly toxic to cats and they should be removed from the house ideally. Generally cats don't tend to eat them, but if yours is, ultimately even if he is being sick the toxicity will build up causing gut damage as well as other long term illness.
Either keep the plants in a room where you can shut the door and not allow the cat to enter the room, but my advice is ditch the plants for something a little more cat friendly.
You could try growing catnip yourself in a shallow tray for a treat for him to play with.
Alternatively, when you're out, put the cat out too.

Put the plant in a different room, and close the door so she cant get at it. Some plants are extremely toxic to cats, and some can even cause death.....doesnt stop the little perishers having a good chew if youre not looking, so play hide the plant!!!

How very strange. It reminds me of a calypso about a cat who had a fixation for eating fish. A line from the song goes : I had a cat all he does eat is fish, I really want to know if the cat really know fish in true , I wrote F I S H on a piece of paper and the ***** cat eat that too.

keep them out of reach of the kitty. Cats love to eat plants, but usually throw them up. You can buy grass for the cats which he might eat instead of your other plants.

Put lemon or orange juice/peel on the soil of the plants. Cats don't like it and will stay away. It also won't harm your moggy

Does your cat go out?
Cats usually eat things like household plants, or the grass outside, it makes them vomit, clears their system (Fur balls etc.).

You can buy natural grasses and herbs from a pet store to help divert him from that plant. :) Good Luck!
