Alot of people go to church on Sunday (or what every day they worship) and the other six days live as they please. Christ said that He had to go so that the Helper could come. The Helper is the Holy Spirit.
I think it is a beautiful thing that you listen to the Spirit because He has so much to say and we miss learning and growing if we tune him out. Once we accept Christ the journey continues.,,we run the race to perfection, that purification, that process is carried out and along by the Holy Spirit, be blessed that you have been given the gift to listen not many people listen and they miss out on knowing the heart of God.

I applaud your desire to grow! I believe we all should work on our weaknesses. I believe this so much, I worked at a store named FranklinCovey for a time. It was started by Hyrum Smith (What Matters Most) and Stephen Covey (7 Habits of Highly Effective People). The 7 Habits have changed and enriched my life profoundly. I encourage everyone to read it! It speaks to you, no matter what you come from. I would suggest you read it as well, if you haven't. And if you want to help people grow, read the 8th Habit. It talks about finding your voice to help others find theirs. It is a true affirmation of faith in all that you believe in!

I have been working on my flaws, I think that I have improved by just knowing what they are, however I think that I still have a long way to go. I think that it is great that you have worked on yours, I think that helping others with theres, would be a blessing however many people dont even realize that they do. I think recognition comes first.

H e thinks he's awesome considering he is not, he has much less creativeness, and no more compassion than the ones round him, and an incapability to peer any individual elses factor of view, that is born of conceitedness, and conceitedness, as everyone knows, is a definite signal of stupidity! In brief, he's an conceited, ignorant prick, past instructing, however via the coincidence of delivery, he's able of vigor! Find your self a brand new activity as quickly as you'll, earlier than you're sorely tempted to kick a few humanity into this ********!!

I do!....because of the Holy Spirit I too am able to be aware of my defects at times and able to correct them too!......It takes a real honest person to admit when they are wrong and then fix it!.......Thanks for the encouragement to all believers! (Romans 8:26)...

I have no flaws.
I am the next step in human evolution (though I doubt you even believe in it). My name is homo cognitus. I am smarter than you. Fact.
I just picked up the wrong beer can and swallowed a load of cigarette ash and I am not ashamed. You are like a monkey compared to me.
i am not joking. I pity you and loathe you at the same time.

No offense, but “try(ing) to be aware of my defects so I can work on them” is not Christianity. That is, at best, humanism, and at worse, a false Christianity. Even Holy Spirit inspired awareness is not given that you might work on your ’defects’ or ‘grow’ or ‘improve’ as you so self righteously proclaim, but that you might recognize and mourn your permanent shallowness, failure and sin in Adam and turn to Him who lives within you, so that He might manifest Himself through you. That “there is none righteous, no, not one,” applies not only before you came to Christ but also now. Read Romans 6 & 7. To be looking inward at your faults and trying to improve is a task of Sisyphusian proportion and will lead you nowhere. It is a trick of Satan. Instead take these things to Messiah, confess your faults and your inability to substantially alter them to be of any value to Him and allow Him to manifest His life through you instead. God does not parcel out to us patience, joy, peace, happiness, goodness, faith, meekness or anything else, but instead gives us Messiah to be our patience, joy, peace, etc. That there is a difference IS the difference between modern apostate Christendom and true Christianity. Again, I mean no offense and apologize for the seemingly harsh tone, but to continue to try to ‘improve’ yourself (and others) will lead you nowhere and when you get there you will find yourself just as “defective” as when you started, but years and decades may have been lost to whatever value and service you might have been to the King and His Kingdom. Accept the death penalty that God has deemed you worthy of in Christ, so that you can get on with your new resurrected life in Christ, free of introspection, flaws, self improvement, sins and death.
