I know it is stated that the Ark has indeed been found...don't beleive me? http://english.sdaglobal.org/evangelism/arch/noah.htm
Now what I want to know is if there is evidence that across the entire world there was a flood at the same time. I have been thinking about it and although there is evidence of a flood almost everywhere at some point in time was it all over the world at the same time?
During Noah's time there was no way to know who lived where and how big the world was so how do I know (besides faith) that the world wasn't just their village and the surrounding ones to them?

Ok just to clarify... the statement above about the Ark being found is simply to keep the answers on track instead of being shown websites or told it is all a fairy tale.... this does not determine my beliefs either way. Thank you

No, that has not been proven as Noahs Ark. Further studies and exploration of the site after the perported "evidence" you show has found nothing substantial. If I remember correctly a sample of wood which was found up there was carbon dated to wtihin the last millenia.
Further, why would you be looking for scientific evidence on an evangelical website? It didn't cross your mind as being biased?
Also there has never been proof of a world-wide flood, only isolated areas.
If there was a world-wide flood why don't ancient cultures such as the australian aborigines and ancient chinesse have any corroborating history for a flood at the same time? Hell, how did aboriginal and chinese culture make it through unaffected?
Also there is not enough water on earth in any form so flood the entire planet. So water would have just magicaly appeared and disappeared for this to happen.
It's all an alegory for a flood tale that has been passed done from even before the first Jews.

Boy, these answers just missed the boat! There is a lot of proof that the flood during Noah's time covered the whole planet. There is so much that I cannot share it all here. Go to "The Institute for Creation Research website and you can find tons of info. The people that say it was a local flood are kidding themselves. The unbelieving will say anything as long as they don't have to agree with the Word of God. They will tell you it was a meteor, flood of lava or a big T Rex fart that changed this world. Anything but the Genesis Flood. Seek and you shall find.

HA! That mud formation doesn't even have the same dimensions listed in the Bible. It may be close to the right length, if you use Egyptian cubics (which there is no evidense they woudl have), but that is where any similarity ends. I'm more likely to believe that a spaceship landed there and made that imprint than Noah's ark.
Noah's ark is a story in the Bible that tells a greater tale about God's love for man, and the undying nature of evil. It is something to be understood, not discovered. You are looking for proof in something where proof isn't required.

Well if you are a member of the Christian faith, Noahs family had to repopulate the earth (Incest seems to be a common way of populating the planet for it being a sin) so the story would have been passed down through the family and on into other parts of the world. Mind you I am not Christian but I was raised in the church and that's what I was taught. Kind of a long shot I know but still.

Well there is enough water here now to cover the earth. The Pacific is bbbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggg. If the polar caps were to melt, only the mountain tops would be visible. That ain't much land. Also lets remember that there are remains of sea life buried on all mountain tops. Yes they were under water at one time. Many scientist believe there was a world wide flood.

Most scientists would say "No" and then pick up their grant checks that don't go to those who would publicly say "Yes". However according to at least one geological report there is a layer of iridium that is spread over the globe and indicates that in the geologically recent past the Earth was covered totally in a thick sheet of ice. But, then how did the plants survive?
Gee, that makes less sense than the Universal Flood myth that every society on the planet has.

no, there is no proof that the whole world was flooded at the same time . But, Noah lived in the area surrounding the mediterranean sea and the Indian ocean.

Lady, I hate to burst your, blind faith bubble, but Noah and all the other silly stories of the bible are just that, stories. Just think for a second if you will. If you were omnipinant, why in Christs name would you make some old dude go get a gang of special wood, put together a giant boat. Then have him travel all over the planet and find two of ever animal (which was probably like over 20 million animals). Then force all these stinky beasts and his wrinkly old wife in the boat, just to end up on some god forsaken rock? .........................You would'nt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If sience has found evidence of the flood, they would never admit it. Then they would have to admit that they don't know all things.
Science has been wrong before. They used to think cancer was contagious, they used to think menopause was all in your head.
When the medicine Premarin first came out, they thought it was safe to take forever,
now they don't recomend taking it more than 5 yrs.
They keep changing their minds on things.
So if they ever found evidence of the flood, I doubt they would acknowledge it.
