I see that most people do not really believe in a fiery place of torment. Actually hell is not. Hell is only mankinds grave--so all who die go to hell. David, the writer of Psalms said this regarding hell: "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
Does that show hell to be a horrible place? What was meant by Davids prayer? He is saying that no matter where he may be, God will remember him, even when he is sleeping in death in hell(grave). The book of Revelation promises us that soon there will be no more death and no more hell,( graves) for if there is no one dying, hell (graves) will no longer be needed. What a wonderful promise from God.

I prefer Bahamas.
Technically though, the Bible never says Heaven isn't hot. In fact, it can be shown that heaven is much hotter than hell from a Biblical perspective.

Heaven is where I want to go. I want God to tell me that I ca come into heaven. I don't like hell. That is a bad place to go.

What's heaven? What's hell? Do you know where they are? Have you been there before? Did you take a thermometer with you?
I'd rather just go for a nice, quiet hike if it's all the same to you. I don't allow these superstitions to engulf and destroy my life.

I do not want to be to cold or to hot. So where is it just right? and I might go there if I feel like it but for now and quit awhile I am just fine here on earth and have no intentions of leaving!
