Yes, I have been married for 5 years and can always be better.
I think it would be inspiring to do it cause to teach your self over years is hard and I still am newly wedded five years isn't nothing. I believe if I had the time to take a class that would be great do it before you have three kids cause then wish you had!Just my thoughts on the matter, you do what will make you happy!!!!!!!

Classes to be a better housewife? Offensiive, that's different to every guy. but classes on managing home finances, and child development, and making a great marriage even better? I think those are good things. They don't say women only right? So, if a man wanted to, he could go. More often than not, even if a woman works, she'll have to take care of the kids, the bills, and find time for her man, all in one day...so if there are classes offering to help women out with that, and even maybe to manage their time better, then I say, great.

I think a class like this would be great for both husband and wife to attend. In fact engaged couples should attend before getting married. They would have an idea what is involved other than the Hollywood romance idea of happily ever after.

Don't live with each other first. Wait until after the wedding for sex.
This way you won't feel tied to someone that isn't committed to you.

God Bless You

I would take it if I were a housewife. It sounds like an inspiring idea that a lot of housewives would love to take. It's a hard job being a house wife taking care of kids and home and husband and all that...it's a big job.

That depends on what the class involves. If it actually teaches things like home finances, child development, and marriage skills, that's a good thing. However, if it's one of those classes that's meant to brainwash women into becoming subservient drudges, that's not a good thing.

I think that anything to try to better your part in your family could never be offensive. I think whatever you decide to be be the best at it-- whether that makes you a homemaker, a homemaker and a professional, or what not. In a society where the definition of family has about 1000 different meanings I find it admirable that you care enough to put effort into yours. Just make sure your whole life isn't about other people. . .

I think that if you have chosen to be a stay at home mom it is an inspiring idea. Believe me, it's not as easy as lots of people think it is. And you will need all the help and support you can get I say "Go for it".
GOOD LUCK and More Power to Ya'

How about a class about being a "better household manager" instead? No woman really marries their house.
By de-genderizing the subject, you'd also open the door to males who might be interested, increasing your potential target market by about 100%.

If you cut out the sexism, it sounds like a worthy class!

As long as it wasn't stereotypical, you need to be careful with that.
Maybe it should be how to be a better partner. Many men need to learn about home finances, child development, and how to effectively communicate in a marriage too.
Actually, it should be mandatory before marriage.
