i HAVE ANOTHER rOTWEILLER NOW SINCE THE DEATH OF MY OTHER BUT SHE IS FUNNY.... wHEN YOU KISS HER SHE MAKES AN "UGLY FACE", YOU CAN'T DESCRIBE IT UNLESS YOU SEE IT! iT'S HORRIBLE LIKE SHE'S GONNA TAKE YOUR FACE OFF BUT MY DAD SAYS SHE'S JUST "SMILING". SHE'S NEVER HARMED ANYONE BUT WHEN YOU KISS HER ON THE SIDE OF THE CHEEK ALL TEETH SHOW. SHE'S NOT GROWLING OR ANYTHING, IT'S JUST REAL FUNNY TO LOOK AT!

We had our Rottie put down after a looong fight w/cancer. We have since gotten another one and she's completely different. Maybe your new baby is too new to appreciate the kiss she's getting. Maybe she just doesn't like to be kissed, maybe she'd rather get her ears rubbed, or her chest or belly rubbed. She's a completely different doggie with all her own doggie "happy spots"

well if she doesn't growl or nip at you i don't see the harm in it. It HAS been rumored that some dogs can indeed smile.

We make a growling kind of sound when we hug our doxie mix, so when she wants a hug, she growls....so cute!

maybe she is ticklish or perhaps she has an allergic reaction to human slobber.

I hope you aren't tongue kissing her-yuck.
