I know it is really hard. A glass of juice helps. Also, if you live in a town or city with a FUEL Juice Bar, their drinks are crammed with fresh fruit and veg juices and are delicious - so really help reach the targets!!!

There are certain drinks that are on the market that boast at have 2-3 of the five in them, you can get these in supermarkets.
You could try juicing some fruit and drink it, or just keep trying different fruits etc until you find something that you like.
But look at your diet as a whole, you could have bananas on cereal, one an apple at lunch, fruit juice (real +1) and two types of veg in the evening.
Make sure that they aren't over cooked, and there you go, eating healthily REALLY does change your life and once you do it you will wonder how you lived on grease etc, trust me i know!

I think I'm eating your 5 a day! I eat loads of fruit and veg...I actually get cravings for tomatoes if I don't get enough. I always find that prepacked fruit salads are really good because you don't get the hassle of preparing it, that goes for salads too! Why not try tinned fruit and veg for the same reason. If you make foods like spaghetti sauce or lasagne, add loads of veg. My sister's boyfriend hates vegetables and my mum can't get over this so she made a lasagne for him with loads of veggies in, but they were all pureed so he couldn't see them. He ate it all down though, and still to this day does not know about his veg intake that day!!!

that can be tough but remember that many fruits and vegetables can be considered two servings, such as a grapefuit.
I've gotten on a kick of microwaving cauliflower for 5 minutes ( the kind that comes in a bag- and i snip the bag) and then add cheese and it is sooooo good. We end up eating the whole thing which is probably 9 servings!!! not that that's good either.
Just try your best to throw fruit into things like yogurt, cereal, etc. Anything that you can add berries to or a banana, do it. Like a banana with peanut butter for breakfast is soooo good and so healthy.

V-8 for the veggies and more fruits you love. The only really bad part is that V-8 has tons of salt and you should avoid fruit juices (high sugar, low fibre). But if you get a juicer and squeeze your own mixes, you can swallow them down a lot faster and get all those great vitamins. Better than not eating them at all!

Try drinks that have more than one serving of fruits and vegetables. A can of V8 has 2 servings- 8 oz of orange juice count as one so you could have a really big glass of oj in the morning.

Remember that it is 5 servings. Check out what a serving amount is. It's not as much as you think. Also, Ronald Regan said that catsup was a vegetable and should be counted as such in the school lunch program so I guess you can count some condiments in your serving count. Don't forget the olive in your martini or the celery in your Bloody Mary!
