Not big name game like WoW or Guild Wars. The spyware that comes from online games is usually from "free sites" that does not have a subscription. Most common are card games or online casinos run by unknown companies. (For instance, playing yahoo games is safe).

Yes.
This program will work with you current AV/AS programs and stop any infection attempts in their tracks, before it's installed. Then you can continue to play the game with no worries. It's an amazingly good program that I've been using for over 6 months now. It has stopped 20 infection attempts on my computer.
The latest infection attempt was in an email from my cousin. It had a Video he wanted me to see. When I open the attachment this program caught the infection Immediately and stopped it dead. I was still able to watch the video.

Anything you do donwload from the internet could potentially damage your machine through viruses or whatever, because this is an entry point to your computer malicious softwares will potentially try and use this window to get into your pc, despite that if you have a good firewall witha strong filter and anti-virus system, then you reduce the chances. so if you do want to donwload make sure its from a trusted source, as long as you have your pc security setup well. :)

Yes. By accepting to play these games, you are automatically allowing the holders of the game [and hackers] complete access to your computer. I know this because my mother works for a company that helps solve these problems. Good luck though!

The likelihood of that happening is rather slim, but it is possible. That's why it's always good to have an anti-virus software package installed on your computer, constantly running, and its virus definitions constantly updated.
