After my workout, I sit at a table near the climbing gym where he works. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see him looking at me several times while I'm taking a seat. When he looks away, I glance at him too, although he caught me once today. This has happened on a couple of occasions. I'm 30 and I think he might be 39 or 40 or something? He's Hispanic and speaks Spanish fluently as well as English. I think that's cool :-) Anyways, what to do? Probably nothing, right? If he likes me, he'll approach me?

In response to Confuscious, I don't think it's good to be that aggressive no matter what your age. I think it looks desperate.

As a 30 year old woman you should not be playing 17 year old "looksy" games. Stare the ole boy down!

THe best thing to do is to walk up and introduce yourself...ask him if he wants to do something later...then wink. (winking is good)

If you're not married or engaged...go talk to him.
You're a little old to be playing school games, so don't be sending your friends to ask him if he likes you.
Women can assume some responsibility to meet guys they like. If I were him, I'd be scared to hit on any women there, since he works there. With all of the sexual harassment suits, a guy has to be more careful about even talking to women where he works any more. Go talk to him, ask him if he'd like to go out sometime. What do you have to lose?

Well in this day and age in 2006, in it alright for you to start of the talking between you two. Stop the eye contact and walk up to him and start a conversation with him...Then take it from there..

Make eye contact for a few seconds. Let him know you're interested. If he likes you, he'll come over

He might but maybe he's not sure if you are interested or maybe he's shy. Why not just start a conversation and wait for him to get comfortable enough to ask you out.

If he's interested, he'll approach you. How flattering to have someone peeking at you!
