I was seperated in 2003, divorced in 2004 and have had sex only 2x outside of marrige (since the divorce.) I am going nuts, is my sacrifice going to be appreciated by a future girl friend. I have turned down more sex than I can beleive- more that I got while I was married. At first it was out of not being over the ex. then it was turned down for respect for my future relationship. But I tell you, I am ready to do all the things my frigid ex-wife wouldn't try. What shoudl I do, Continue to wait or begin to experience and learn? Please tell me why.

Continue to wait for that special lady.....it doesn't have to be the next girl you married.....but you need that time......so it can be special. The reason why because you waited a long time and I just feel that your celebration should be special and then after that you can get buck wild. Good luck.

What is it exactly that your waiting for? Ur not a virgin.. But ur waiting to tell ur next girl that you havent had sex??? come on now. Abstinence can demonstrate that you are a strong, respectful kind of man..It can more of a turn on.... But with the way ur thinking now,.. looks like you might have some regrets. Ur doing this for a person you dont know yet, think about urself. There's lots of things out there you dont wanna catch (VD's), but as long as ur responsible and take all precautions.. make ur call. Abstinence is sexy, it makes you look like a good guy, or would you perfer the label of a typical guy.. who wants to share his seed. Maybe your next girl will want to try all the things you want to... (that ur ex didnt want to).. Then you'll have the best of both worlds. Good luck with watever you choose.

It is my honest opinion that being abstinent isn't good for anyone. However, I wouldn't suggest that you go crazy with experimenting either. You don't want to ruin all chances of a first experience with your future partner. Some things are more special if you love the person. I guess what I'm saying is, you're single so go have some fun but don't do it all at once!!

You need to move on. She is the past and this is the present, so that you can have a future. Start going on dates, and be more experience. But not with more than one girl.If the first one don't work out, then try to want a little longer in a relationship. Also, you don't have to rush into sex.

Of course you should be guarded with your sexuallity, but if you find someone that you are interested in spending significant time with, there is no reason that I can think of that you should abstain any longer.
