I think we have stood up. But the courts are run by atheists that will not allow religious herritage to remain in public places. Once the judges start to rule, "Seperation of church and state," their really isn't anything we can do to protect our religious herritage. It then becomes a legal battle in each jurisdiction. Religious people really blew it by not being in the law schools in the 1960's and 1970's to let their views be heard. As a result, we have judges who hate God, religion, or even Christianity. Christians "Came out and seperated" themselves from the legal profession. So they left law to the atheists. Now those Atheists are our judges.

I DO!!! I not only believe that there is a God. I KNOW there is the One True God (Jehovah) because He lives in my heart, His Son Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, I love and worship Him, I stand up for Him and with Him, The Holy Spirit leads and directs my life. I do stand up for Him I can't answer for other people but if you want to find out about some others that stands up for Him, log on to kcm.org you will find plenty there.

I not only believe there is an existing God, I know there is an Existing God and there are many more gods that are inappropriately made gods by those who choose to do so. The appropriate ontological question to ask is what or who or Who do you believe or disbelieve God to be and then state whether you think that god exists. Many people have made false gods out of fantasies, confabulations, ignorance, excessive selfishness, power, "feeling good" rather than being good or even knowing what the word good truly means, lust, or even being ignorant of the fact that they have made their own misleading god, etc.
You can find the answer to your question from recent polls, but the pollsters do not preface the question by what those who answer think the word God means!

I know there is a God. He is the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. He has reconciled me to Himself through the Blood of the Lamb , Jesus.
I stand up in my testimony to this fact. I stand up with my vote. Are you blind? There are people all around you standing and crying out these truths.

Although I do believe in God, I don't stand up to most people when they critize God is because most people who have gone down that path don't want to hear what I have to say. They really don't care and most have heard what I have to say anyway. That's why I try to be friends with fellow Christains

If you know of any Jehovah's Witnesses we do this all the time...in addition to the house-to-house ministry
Why?
Because Christ set the example...he was always talking to people in casual settings. (John 4:1-30, Luke 19:1-10)...in addition to teaching in group settings and at the temple.
Also because of the apostle Paul's words: (Acts 20:20) 20Â "while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house. "
