Wedding is September 22nd in coastal Maine and we are looking to use native floral arrangements. Any orchid or day lilly substitute available at this time of year in Maine?

I don't think there will be too much in bloom at that time of year. There will be mums (not necessarily native, but will be blooming) You may also have some hydrangeas (these also look beautiful dried). There might be some wildflowers blooming such as black-eyed Susans, Queen Anne's lace, goldenrod etc. Don't forget about berries such as bittersweet. If the leaves are starting to turn you could also use those for some color. I would suggest finding a good local florist who will help you create the look that you want for your wedding.

i might recommend to pass to 3 diverse florists on your section and merely leaf by way of photographs of what different arrangements they did until now (maximum florists have those to grant new shoppers an theory of ways their artwork sounds like) and then ask them what varieties of vegetation are accessible for the time of fall, that way it would be greater low-priced in case you want plenty for the marriage. in lots of situations, i think of florists might attempt to advance the fee for "wedding ceremony bouquets" and "wedding ceremony" something so merely enable them to comprehend you have an activity in paying for around for a party bouquet or something. yet I do think of that sunflowers are stunning because of the fact they have a variety of orange, reds, and yellow or pink/orange dyed daisies.for an casual look. For a greater stylish look, you may elect pink roses, orange roses, mums, dahlias, ranuculus in colours of pink, orange, yellow and per threat some calla lilies for somewhat white. happy making plans!
