Well I try them all. Found the best thing to do. Say bye to the cat and remove the rug. I still have other cats. They are good. Had one that peee everytime my back was turn. It was so bad the tile under the rug was also bad and it had to be removed too.

If you're rich then a Kirby vacuum has this thing where it cleans with foam really good and has great suction.

brimaf has the best so far, it's good to keep the cat from doing it again.

I have used cider vinegar and citrus orange cleaner, it has done the trick everytime. Equal portions, wipe on, blot dry. (test an area first to make sure it doesn't stain your carpet).

a good steam cleaner always works for me. you can try a little vinegar. they don't like the smell of it and it'll keep them from peeing there again.
