Color of a vehicle does NOT factor in when insuring a vehicle. They say a red car is more to insure because it is easier for a police officer to notice when driving down the highway. So you are more likely to get a ticket. That (a ticket) WILL raise your insurance. If you drive a bright colored car, drive nice.

No, the color does NOT matter. Insurance companies don't even ask what the color is when you take out your policy. And the VIN number does not indicate the vehicle color either.

I drive two red cars. My policy lists all surcharges and discounts. There is no surcharge for vehicle color.

Nope the insurance doesn't care about color. They care about safety ratings for the car and such. Make .Model Speed.
The PoPo looooves red cars though. Even though i am on my 4th red car and don't have a ticket.
