They are available through a couple of places in Fairbanks. I lived there for 16 years. You can order them specially through Spenard Builders Supply. They're rather pricey but very nice.

I mostly buy jerk at the store but i have (well my parents) a barbecue pit with a big smoker on the side and i want to start making home made jerky. since you are doing it at home you'll get more slices of jerky then what you may get at the store. one chunk of beef will make allot of slices of jerky.
