This the first good question i've heard all day. Despite what you have prolly heard, there is no such thing as backsliding. Another word for backsliding is sinning. And when we sin, we repent to God. That is the advantage of being saved. We don't have to go through another baptism(i'm guessing from your dialect that youre baptist), we simply ask for forgiveness.

To backslide as a believer does not mean to lo0se your salvation. A Christian cannot loose salvation. See John 10:28; John 6:37-40, 44; Philippians 1:6... other verses such as in Hebrews and the parable of the sower are about non-believers who appear to be believers but are really not. Backslidding is described in Romans 7:14-25 by Paul as something we all battle with.

The real question is are you truly saved? If you are then no you don't have to get saved again. Being saved doesn't mean that you don't have problems, it means you have a belief that Jesus died so that you might be freed from the curse of the law.
I have many things that I have to deal with on a daily bases where my walk slips but I ask for forgiveness and continue on the best I can. I try to live as Jesus modeled but it doesn't mean that I don't fall short. I fall way short but I still have to continue on.
See for me it is all about faith and living up to the faith that I claim, if someone doesn't care for my faith, so be it. I will not condemn them for it.

If you backslide, you need to repent and confess, yes. But not necessarily get saved all over again.

No, Christ died once, for ALL of your sins.
Repent, that is to turn from your sins and ask God to forgive you.
He is faithful and just to do that for you.
Look at it as you have been adopted into a family.
If you do something hurts others in the family, or it is against our Father's commandments, we should feel sorry for what we have done and ask their forgiveness. Then we should try not to do that again, out of our love for them.
Out of their love for you, they will forgive you.
There is still consequences for sin in our lives, even after you are saved. The important thing to remember is that sin has no more power over you. Greater is He who is in you. Pray for forgiveness and rest in His mercy and love.

Yup, but it does not mean that you have to be baptised again. You need to repent and stop doing the sin . Mind you, it depends on what thesin is, and which church you belong to, since some churches think that breathing is the only thing that isn't a sin.

No. Consider the Catholics for an example. They might mess up occassionally, but they go to confession, pay their pennance, say their Hail Marys and vow to to better next time. Nobody is perfect. God knows this and as long as you ask him for forgiveness, you will still be saved. :)

IWOULD DEFINITELY JUST ASK THE FATHER FOR FORGIVENESS AND TRULY REPENT IN YOUR HEART FOR NOT STAYING WITH HIM. I would even get water baptized again. The main issues here is to love on Him and let Him love on you. Look at why you left Him and this time Hold on to Him with all your might. He is worth holding on to. Also, do not let the devil tell you that you are not worthy of being back in the family. you are forgiven and God's mercy is incredible.. Let Him be your all in this, and get others to pray with you and for you....

No, once you are born again, you can't be unborn. Look at John Chp 10. Confess your sins to Jesus, he is your advocator in Heaven, He can remove your sins as far as the east is from the west! :) Peace.
