Some one just posted a question that has erased all doubts for me about the muslim religion. the quaran talks about Jews. the quaran talks about Jesus. Does the Bible talk about muslims? And does the bible talk about muhammed? Are the two worshipping the same god now after thinking about that?

The Quaran talks about their hate for the Jews and how they want to kill them.
It also says that Jesus is the NOT the Son of God. Actually he is the ONLY way to God.
The Bible says nothing about Islam because it's a demonic religion.
Thank God, we Christians don't preach "Death to non-Believers."
You need to do alot more research before you convert and lose your soul to their lies and deception.
The Allah they worship and the God of the Bible are two different things!Study the Bible and you will see.

The Muslim accounts are the same as the Jewish and Christian accounts all the way up to the births of Ishmail and Isaac. From there the Muslims deviate. Then the Jews and Christians split once Jesus entered the picture (some believed He was Christ, some didn't). The Muslims do acknowledge Jesus as a prophet... just not as the Mesiah.

Some teachings of Islam are whack. And they split off a long time ago, so they've had lots of time to deviate from what is correct. They get a big, fat TWANK!

Yes muslims and christians worship the same god. Yet the Bible doesnt talk about muslims because the muslim religion (Islam) didn't start till some 600 years after the death of Jesus. I'm a muslim, that went to catholic school and now catholic university, the religions are very much alike.

To muslims, people of the Christian and Jewish faiths are "people of the book", because they have some of the same Holy Books. The God of Abraham is indeed the same God worshipped by Muslims, Jews and Christians alike. The 3 faiths are thus called the "Abrahamic" traditions.

To Muslims, Js and Cs have it part right, by following their Holy Books, but they have not recognized that Mohammed is God's final prophet given to the Earth and the Holy Quran is the direct Word of God. However, they give them props for following the other prophets, and they consider Jesus to be one of the prophets in the long line of Great Prophets (Moses, Elijah, Ezekiel, etc.), but not the son of God. Mohammed is the last prophet in this tradition.

Since the Bible and the Torah were written before Islam came around, they do not mention Islam by name, but some passages can be interpreted to predict the arrival of Mohammed. However, I cannot myself quote these passages.

The Qu'ran didn't come along until after A.D. 600. The Bible as completed LONG before that, so it couldn't very well talk about Muslims. The God of Abraham is the basis for all three religions.

The Qur'an was written long after New Testament was written over a 23 year period during the 7th century AD. Thus Muhammad, who wrote the Qur'an and the Muslims who follow the teachings from it, did not exist when the bible was written.

Quran came after Jaudism and Christianity and therfore it talks about them. How can a book talks about something that is not existing yet?

However, Muslims say that old testement spoke about Muhammed as the Messiah.

The Bible talks about Prophet Muhammad (SAW): In Genesis: And from the seed of Ishmael a great nation I will create and 12 righteous descendants will I give. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the only prophet to claim to be from prophet Ishmael and he had 12 righteous descendants. In the Bible it claims false prophets will fail, but ever since its first revelation, it is the fastest growing religion. Also there is a Bible that is banned which is according to St. Barnabas that says Prophet Muhammad (SAW) will come after prophet Jesus.

Actually, the Bible was written, technically, before the Muslim Holy Book.

And yes, both religions worship the same god.
Just, in different ways.
