I will show my sports geek side with this remark, but what a fun question. Wrestling was my sport of choice when I was competing - I started in 4th grade and continued until I was 21. When my daughter reached an age where she started playing volleyball, I started coaching it.
I have to make the same assumption that John did - you meant real wrestling.
The reason I think it is such a fun question is because it contrasts the team sports that represent the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to the neccessity of team work.
In wrestling you have a sport where, even though you are on a team, when you are on the mat going against your opponent, you are all by yourself. There is nothing (legal anyway) that your team mates can do to help you or to pick you up. In volleyball you have the sport where team work is the most important of any team sport. Every person on the team has a job to at every single moment. If you are having a bad time with something, your team mates can protect your or pick you up.
I don't know that one is "better" than the other. Both require their athletes to be in top physical shape, mentaly and physically tough and both require a certain "mean streak" to successful at the top level.
Now if the question is which sport is the best to watch - I have to go with volleyball. During the college season, Fox Sports shows a Pac 10 volleyball game each Sunday. I watch no matter who is playing.

I feel forced to ask a point of clairification do you mean wrestling as in professional wrestling, which is not a sport or do you mean real wrestling as in high school, college and Olympic wrestling, which is a sport?
I'm going to guess the non-professional wrestling type but then I need to ask how do you mean better? Better as entertainment, better for building your body, better as a carrer move? Or maybe as a spectator? But what aspect are you asking about?
If I guess more generally, I personally find volleyball more entertaining to watch than non-professional wrestling. But being that I wrestled in high school, I feel the work out you get from wrestling is much more demanding in many but not all areas.
Volleyball can be played by anyone and tends to have fewer injuries. Wrestling is very demanding and you can get hurt.
but again I'm kind of not sure what your referring to...

It all is determined by what sacrifices you are inclined to make. I used to be at the wrestling group for four years in top institution. Like every other recreation the primary few weeks of train are brutal. That's conditioning your frame to athletic capabilities. You'll get up sore, each muscle to your frame will anguish. It's lovely difficult. But with all that comes a way of satisfaction On your first yr, until you have got a knack for it, you are no longer particularly going to take action good. If you struggle men your equal age you may also do satisfactory, however there are possibilities that you'll be able to be the one man in that distinct weight elegance and be pressured in varsity. So you may also constantly become wasting. And in varsity, that is wherein successful a wasting counts. The toughest aspect approximately wrestling is retaining your weight. You can't pass over a special weight elegance. Once you're located in that department you are caught there for the leisure of the season until the educate is okey with relocating you. You'll simplest become wrestling men your possess weight, that is a well factor. But maintaining that weight can be rough. I suppose the one factor you'll be able to truthfully get out of it's satisfaction and probably a handful of peers. And if you are particularly well, recognize! It's one of the crucial few physical activities wherein teamwork does not anything to aid you. When you are out on that mat for 6 mins it is you in opposition to your opponent and typically your self. Your frame will wish to provide into fatigue and simply permit the fit be over with. But you ought to be rough and robust and recognize that your brain can overrule your frame and drive it to hold going.
