I used the term 'papers' because I figured most people were intelligent enough to assume what I meant..I guess I was giving some people too much credit.
This remark was not intended for the people that have given informative information.

The registration papers are only useful if you intend to breed the dog. They do not guarantee the health or temperament of the dog that you have. If someone is selling the dogs, and they advertise that the dog has "papers", you should get them to be able to see what the dog's pedigree looks like. Also, someone may want to charge more because the dog is "registered."

You mean for a full breed dog, those kind of papers? No, like you said, unless you plan on breeding or dog shows, they aren't really needed for anything else, I wouldn't throw them away though, maybe you can ask the vet if they might want to see them.

You might write approximately the Roman Catholic church integrating paganism with Christianity. 321 AD - the Sabbath Day of scripture was once made unlawful, and Christians had been pressured to worship on Sunday, the day sacred to the Roman solar god. 325 AD - the Passover, while Jesus gave the Covenant to his fans in Mark's higher room, and which was once the day within the Old Testament while God stored his persons and destroyed fake gods, was once changed with the pagan Easter pageant. 354 AD - the primary time the Roman pageant of Saturnalia, while persons indulged themselves in delight, was once re-packaged as Jesus's birthday and referred to as Christmas. 431 AD - the primary time the Roman good fortune-appeal within the form of a move was once placed on best of a church altar 586 AD - the primary time a move was once placed on best of a church Crosses have been used way back to 1400 BC as pagan symbols, and seemed on Roman cash as early as forty six BC. The thought that Christians must venerate the move is as un-Christian as wearing round a image of Judas Iscariot. It's no longer just a pagan image, additionally it is an idol, and immediately contradicts the lessons of Christ. Maybe you might write a paper approximately the pagan affect at the Catholic church. This form of factor has been written approximately usually. What might make it extra detailed might be immediately relating to the areas within the Bible in which those matters are forbidden.

Well, it does not cost very much to send them in, I think AKC is $15.? If you wait and do it at a later date, it gets quite a bit more expensive.
What if sometime you decide to do obedience, rally or agility? Many people do decide to do it even after the dog is a bit older, it is alot of fun. You never know...

How thick ARE you? Duh...what do you think "papers" are for? Do you even know what it means? Registration forms? Pedigrees?

Not really. But if you are paying a lot you will need them to justify the price.
