I personally don't know anything about the Kodak c760, but I can tell you that you should but the Canon instead. I personally have two different Canon Powershot cameras myself; G6 and S2 IS, and they are great. They are a great camera for people who just want to take pictures without worrying about any settings and also good for people who actually want to controll their camera's settings and such for more involved pictures. You can also buy many attachment lens for the Powershot cameras unlike Kodak's cameras. So really you can add on to the optical zoom to make it twice what it is or you can buy different lens filters to have different effects on your pictures.
Long story short, Canon cameras all the way!

I'm no expert, but I will never use anything but Canon. Go to a few electronic stores and ask the sales peoples opinions. They are supposed to know best.
