Just to be clear about the way your question is worded, I hope you realize that dietary fat won't directly make you gain fat. Fat comes from an excess of calories in relation to what you metabolize, no matter what they are from (carbs, fats, proteins, or alcohol). The real thing to be concerned with is the ratio of calories in the food you eat. 100 grams of a food with 90 grams of protein and 10 grams of fat would contain 450 calories, where 100 grams of a food with 95 grams of protein and 5 grams of fat would only be 425. While that might not seem like much, if you were to save that 25 calories on 3 meals a day, that adds up to almost 8 lbs of fat over the course of a year.
Tuna can certainly help you reach your goals - just be sure to balance your intake and what you are metabolizing. Good luck!

Tuna is considered to be healthy for your diet. I would choose the white or light tuna instead of dark tuna, it has more fat and oil. Also remember to get the tuna that is in water instead of oil for the obvious reason. You can learn a lot from reading the back of the packets or cans of tuna (I'm not trying to be sarcastic). Just compare and see which one would be more beneficial for what you are trying to achieve.

Tuna has the best fat (Omega 3) and will not make you fat as long as you eat it naked. (without mayo or any other type of dressing). Salmon and Tuna are great for your health.

Tuna has very little fat, but be sure it is packed in water and not in oil. Oil will contain much fat.
I hope this helps.

Canned light tuna in water has the least amount of fat, at 0.82 g of fat. You can see the nurtional values of different types of tuna and compared to beef, pork, and chicken, here

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.
