Phinda Resort, South Africa

My husband and I have travelled to 36 countries including every location listed by answerers thus far. From our experience, Phinda would be the best location for several reasons.

1) There is nothing more exotic and exciting than a safari,
2) Your private hut is quite luxurious, (they even draw your bath for you ... including rose petals and candles)
3) You can enjoy the beach,
4) You can do canoe safaris to experience the amazing hippos,
5) You can scuba dive
6) You can take a short plane ride (provided by Phinda Resort) to visit a beach to witness sea turtle eggs hatching,
7) You can enjoy the amazing African sunsets.

For your honeymoon, go somewhere truly exotic and unique. We went to Fiji for our honeymoon, but in hindsight, we wish we would have gone to Africa.

Hope this was helpful!

The Florida Keys, those are beautiful. I'm not married but I have been there and loved it. My best friend who is getting married is going to have part of her honeymoon there then she and her husband are off to Jamaica.

A nice, quiet secluded cabin in the mountains that is just close enough to places so that oyu can go do things when you want, but far enough away to be secluded and private so you can do the things taht you want there. My wife and I went to a cabin in Pigeon Forge TN and had a great time. It was quiet, beautiful view, private, and comfortable and it was close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that we could get out and do things if we wanted to.

San Francisco, California! It is spectacular and very romantic. World class restaurants, hotels, and sights. Plus the weather is perfect for cuddling! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Go someplace that
1. you can afford--you don't want to start out life broke, and
2. you both find interesting. Interesting is more important than romantic--you can do the romance yourself.

We went camping in Death Valley and are still married 40 years later.
