I have long dirty blonde hair and i've wanted to add color i.e. blue, pink to my hair. If i end up not liking the color will it ruin my blonde hair?

there are plenty of products that will wash out in one or two washes. then there are others that will wash out in 6-8 weeks. those are really your only choices. and the 6-8 week color is referred to as permanent color. it wont 'ruin' your hair, although it could dry it out from the chemicals. but if your worried about not getting your natural color back, dont be. the dye will fade over time and that combined w/your natural hair growth will eventually leave you with your natural color all over.

There is a chance that it will, especially if you're thinking of dying it blue. It can turn your hair green.

However, if you dye your hair a more natural colour, it grows out in about a month, depending on if you use permanent or not.

It depends on the type of dye. If it's permanent, yes, until it grows out. If it's a temporary colour (usually labelled "lasts 24 shampoos"or something like that) your hair will be it's original colour when it washes out, but it might be a little bit bleached out and get dry.

it doesn't ruin your natural hair color.. i dye my hair all the time and it doesn't do anything to the color. you natural color just regrows at the roots so as long as you don't inject the dye into your scalp... all should go well. Dye does ruin the quality and strength of your hair though.

I'm not a cosmetlologist, but, I've always heard that when you die your hair as long as you don't go lighter than your natural colorit doesn't damage your hair.

Yes.You will never match your natural color once it is died. The color removes your natural pigment and replaces it with the pigment in the dye.Even if you where to strip the dye you will never replace your natural pigment.
