And snow is Mother Goose plucking her chickens. Also you can hear the sound of gliders' engines if you listen up the chimney ... and there really, really is a connection between every shell you put to your ear and the sea, far away.

Jeez! Some people are so kranky! They are missing out on all the fun there is in this world!

Shall I bore you with the science of thunder? It is the sound of air, displaced by lightning rushing back into the space once occupied by the lighting. Besides, God does not bowl. He keeps score for the angels when they bowl (at least that's what mother told me).

I did a science fair project on that exact question when I was in 7th grade. My conclusion afte extensive scientific analysis is that it is the sound of God bowling, and he uses the moon as the bowling ball, and the rings of saturn as the lane.

No! Its the angels having a bowling tournament. Just like when it rains, the people in heaven are taking a shower.

I like bowling, but dont believe in god. So to hear him bowling upstairs is kinda odd, but a nice way to think of it. I like ur sense of humor

Yes, but He bowls only in certain seasons, and only in some parts of the world.

No. Its the sound of lightning. Since light travels at a speed greater than sound, we see lightning before we hear it cause atmospheric disruption.
