I need some ideas for some good young kids activities, games, and crafts. I have two young boys that are 2 and 4 years old and I don't know what or how to entertain them. Also is there any good free online educational computer games for my 4 year old to play?

crafts like sticking stickers to papers to create or something.
Never to early to start learnign got to local dollar store or book store and get some early learning workbooks. My daughter is 3 and she loves these and is learning to write her letters and numbers. Go to local library and get some books and read to them. Most libraries have summer reading programs and the kids earn prizes for books read even if you are reading them to them. Also look into gymnastics classes often offered by local city recreation departments to help release some of their energy and keep them active and fit. Or even check local YMCA for summer activities like swimming.

I will suggest by interacting with them first of all in all the activities and crafts and games .......I you plan to stay home you should have toys..coloring books..paints...crafts such as go to michaels..or go bike riding take walks ..or go to the park and play ball ..soccer ..baseball and go swimming I take my son swimming and he is two years old ...and my other son is 8 years old.....I mean on the weekend I enjoy going to the beach..and going to a movie...attending a fair a library....perhaps go to ZOO. aquarium...or even plan a picnic....and you will not only have an iteraciton but they will...dont worry to much about computer games do the outdoor stuff ...I mean by your self a sprinkle for your yard and turn it on I bet they will a have fun....if you dont then make ballooon fight or hot potato with them.I mean as a two and four year old ther imagination grows and with your help ..it willl be much more so yes participate in all this ways and then when there much older 4 and 6 think about amousement parks..then you could think about other things

My 2 boys are also 2 and 4. They both like Playdoh, Color wonder markers and finger paints. For Fathers day we bought foam can coolers at the craft store, and foam visors, and they decorated them with "Foamies" stickers, race cars, sports, etc. We also decorate plain boxes and gift bags for other gifts. They both enjoy it. Another idea is to go to a craft store like Michaels or AC Moore, they sell wood shapes (like trains and dinosaurs), sometimes are on sale for 6 for $1, my 4 year old loves to put "Floam" on them. Have fun!

If you have or can find a large cardboard box, paint it like a bus with wheels, put two small chairs or stools in it and TWO steering wheels (made out of whatever, paper plates, frisbees, whatever). Boys usually love this game especially if they have a job to do, like driving people to the airport or taking their parents on errands. Let them come up with the job by asking them what they use their bus/truck for.

when i was in girl scouts we went into the woods at a park and made our own ecosystem. YOu get a tupperware container (ours was pretty large) add dirt, spiders, leaves, ants, and other things out there. Add some water then put the top on it. The "ecosystem" will eventually rain inside. It's pretty cool. My sister works at a daycare center, i'll ask her about any activities and try to get back with you!

I once worked at a daycare, and we did this thing once with felt: Cut circles out for pizza shapes, triangles for slices, and different toppings. You can use ripped-up yellow construction paper for cheese. Then let them make their own pizzas! (Other optional additions are pizza pans and baker's hats) Another really easy thing is to find shapes in the clouds and then draw them! Hope this helps, and best wishes to you and your children.
