Neither, I think people know right from wrong and if they don't then they are just plain stupid.

Both. But it also depends on your definition of sin. Sin as in a religious manner or sin as in someone's personal idea of what is wrong?

I also believe I was taught the majority of what I believe to be a sin. I consider some things as a personal sin just by my nature though.

For example, To me, it is a sin against myself (meaning something that would make me feel bad about me in my soul) to use ppl in a dishonest manipulative manner for my own personal gain. You see this all the time with say.. sales ppl. A person selling an item they know is junk and not telling the customer the flaws. They are dishonestly manipulating that person for their personal gain.

God has given us a choice to do good or evil.
The Bible defines sin as the transgression of the law.
The law is the 10 commandments, which directs you and I to do what is good. 1st 4 are to God, last 6 are to man
Exodus 20:3-17 look it up.

No one would know right from wrong without rules or laws. There was no "sin" before there was anyone to know what it was and therefore whoever breaks the law or goes against their conscience sins.

Let me ask you something. Do you have children or know someone with small children?

We don't have to teach children to lie, hit, steal, etc. That is sin. We do however have to teach the children NOT to do those things. We have to teach them right from wrong. We are sinful in nature! We are born that way!

I think it was my idea.

Often I feel the duality of man. Good and Evil, Order and Chaos.

I sometimes compare it to Angel and Demon.

The more I think about it, I think it's actually the Animal inside me that I call a demon.

That maybe there is no good and evil, but that it is just one thing, one force.

I opened my eyes and looked around me and saw the cheating, lying, stealing, killing, and more that happens everywhere. And it was pretty obvious something was wrong. Then I looked inside at the temptations and desires that too often try to control me (and from what I can see everyone) and the existance of sin was obvious. No one needs to tell you that it exist.

I would think that it was human instinct, but the greeks seemed to have a different set of morals. Gladiators, showed death wasn't feared as a sin, they left unfit babies in jars to die, and rape was overcommon, and it would seem near guilt free.
