Me and this guy have been great friends for ages and now we are going out, have been for about 2 weeks. But we've only held hands once when someone put our hands together (an awkward 5 mins) we havent hugged or kissed or held hands since or anything. Everyone is saying we should kiss and that but its so awkward, and its like nothing has changed since we've started going out, what should i do?

Not only are you finding your way in new the new territory of a boyfriend/girlfriend relartionship, he is too. Don't let your friends get involved again in any way. They have no right to put any pressure on you.
Try to be natural around your boyfriend and if you want to, lead the way. When you're out shopping grasp his hand for a few moments when you are happy or excited. Have a hug when something good happens or when you meet. Give him a peck on the cheek when he does or says something sweet. He'll get the message that you are ready to be more than friends.

I'd say don't let others pressure you into doing anything. If you've just started "going out" as in dating...these things take time, and everyone is not on the same schedule.
Don't do anything that makes you uncomfortable. It may come back to bite you in the a** later. If you're truly concerned...you should probably talk to the guy about it. I know it's not romantic...but communication is generally a good thing.

ahh the innocence of youth.
Takes me back abit. First serious girlfriend Joanne B. Much the same dilemma. Who should make the first move and more to the point how?
One day just walking and talking through the local shopping centre, she somehow just slipped her hand into mine. Then waiting for the bus home just reached up and gave me the lightest peck on the cheek. I think I flew all the way home.
Shame we only went out for another week, cos then she got off with my bestmate who swore blind at school next day that he had got further in one day than I had got in nearly two weeks!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy your youth, I promise you'll look back on it with a smile.

Well now dont go kissing him just to keep everyone else happy, this is about you and your boyfriend not them. When the time is right and you both want to or one makes the first move, you will do it but never lets others pressure you like that.

Find somewhere to be alone, remember this has nothing to do with your friends and they don't have to know what you get up to. You don't have to go very far, just, peck him on the cheek after he does soething sweet and see how he looks at you... it he's gazing at you shocked and keeps looking at your lips then go for it! But if he tries to move further away then there's nothing happening there.

You may just not be ready to become like that with him. He probably feels he same way, so I'd tell him that you dont think u want to be in that sort of relationship with him, that it is just too awkward, and that u want to go back to being friends again. Good luck :)

Girl, go on to the next step. You two look more like brothers. If I were you I would have forgotten how many kisses I gave him...

If you're friends, why are you afraid of a little affection? The friend part won't go away - you're just being wierd and uptight.
