Ok I am the humble gay who ends up splitting for all my date bills if not picking the whole tab. I just dont get it how do others sit there comfortably waiting till I pick up the check and pay it all on my own which happens 90% of the time. Shouldn't they be a lil pretentious atleast even if they do not want to pay? I feel so bad about it later on and I even feel turned off with that behaviour. I am a good looking fella and just dont get it, why gays do this. Is there any good advice on paying bills on gay dating?

ok, even if the choice is to split it, whats the best way to hint or tell the other person about it. Isn't it rude to say, lets go dutch?

well since you are paying all of the time anyways next time when you grab the check just say " well I get this you can get it next time." I know that doesn't sound like it would work but it does.
I have run into the same problem numerous times.
And simply disregard peaches, shes still a little jaded that her last boyfriend turned gay so he could get away from her.

That is old school bull crap about who ever asked for the date should pay! This is 2006 not 1956! I don't think it's a question of gay dating. I think it is a question of courtesy in general. No one should expect someone else to pay for them! I mean to not even offer to split the bill with them is just cheesy. Some people just think that they are too good to pay for their own stuff. My ex was like that, I always had to pay, it was as if she expected it. She never reached for the bill. It gets tiring, you just have to stop being so nice. Next time you go out and the check comes, don't pick it up leave it there, talking like you didn't even see the waiter put it down. Then see what the other person does, either they will pick it up and pay the whole thing or they will pay their half for once. Or pick up the check look at it and say something like "Humm $40 and put a $20 on the table. Most likely the other person will be too embarassed to say anything so they will just take out their money and pay for their own. Try it, what harm could it do?

The immediately human beings might want to pay o/ in case you imagine about it, that is a win win situation. a million. The gays will be courting in golf equipment and eating places for free as a replace of organizing gay parades(which look to harass the immediately human beings a lot). 2. The gays win free dates. 3. the international wins because gays and straights(extra usually than not those that detest gays) will be aside each of the time. The gays on dates and the straights operating to help gay courting.

I think the rules apply in either gender dating situation. The person who asked out should be the one to pay. As simple as that.

Heres the skinny of this topic. If you ask the other guy out its ettiquit that you pay. If they ask you out then they should pay. If you dont see him reaching for his wallet or into his manbag at the end of the meal just be like "wow your cute and you brought me dinner" or something like that and he will (or should) get that hes paying. Happy trails honey!
