a few options.
1) take a home pregnancy test (suggest taking three and taking the majority answer)
2) Go see a doctor and have the test done there.
3) Wait a little longer and see if her period comes. If it seems way too late, then definately take a pregnancy test either at home or at the doctor's office.

If she has an irregular period she may or may not have the same probability of becoming pregnant. It depends on whether or not she ovulates and when it is. My suggestion would be to take a home pregnancy test. You may want to wait a few weeks it you are worried about a false negative. Next time ..... be more careful, if this isn't what you wanted. :-)

Go to your doctor and get a blood pregnancy test. When you take a home pregnancy test it will still show that you are pregnant even if you aren't because your body is still holding those eggs. However taking a blood test can tell you if you are pregnant 7 days after having sex.

Home pregnancy tests are extremely accurate and they are getting that way closer and closer to the actual date of conception. Barring that, are you feeling physically out of sorts, frequently tired, sick to your stomach, or avoiding foods you normally like? These are some of the symptoms I had in early pregnancy. My husband actually noticed before I did, because I was napping all the time!
