My Boyfriend Graduates from Fort Benning in 2 months. Does anyone know what types of arrangements I should make. Like hotels or rental cars etc.

There are multiple graduations at Ft Benning every friday (Basic, Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, etc.) Because of this, there's a mess of hotels around the base. You might want to look into it and make a reservation for a room and a car.

I used to live there and know the Holiday Inn in Columbus Ga., is a good choice. My recommendation is to stay on the Ga side (don't travel to Alabama afterward) and maybe head out to the Callaway Golf Course for a quiet weekend (it is a little pricey but worth it for the peace and quiet). Stay away from the bars in Columbus after graduation (everyone does the bar thing after Grad.), and have fun.

You can ask them if there is any car rentals on post, normally Enterprise has local offices on post, or Hertz.

Make reservation, but make sure you do your research. Columbus have crappy *** hotels, but if you dont mind crack hotels then reserve anywhere, otherwise reserve one around exit 7 or north! Good luck! FOLLOW ME!
