i wanna make my yorkie take at least a 30 minute nap beacuase i will be at school for 8 hours and my parents will be at work. I am blocking off my door so he does not og running off through the house.But i need some help on how to potty train and make him take naps. please help thanx .

Give him medication that will knock him out cold!!

Dogs basically sleep on their own time. You can't make them take naps and I don't advise giving drugs. Try to wear him down with some play or a walk. Also, you might try along with your potty training, is purchase a crate for him. It is the easiest way to potty train and keep him confined there except only to come out for potty breaks and exercise.
I have two high energy dogs...and as long as I am up around and doing stuff, they want to be a part of what 's going on. Very rarely do they nap unless they have been out playing in the yard and naturally tire or if I am laying down to take a nap and they nap with me.

Puppies and dogs sleap when they are tired or when they are bored in a crate. Put the dog in a crate and they will sleep and not go potty in your house.

i have no idea my dog goes to sleep when he wants to.....even when he is home alone he'll go up to my parents room n knock out till we come home.
