i mean if you have a bully who wont leave you alone, do you have the right to punch them in the stomach or there face?

Only if he tries to hit you first. Never take the first swing. It is only self defense if he swings first. Otherwise, you are the aggressor.

In today's world, just picking a fight would lead you to more trouble than not. Simply ignore the bully and continue on. If the bully persists, tell him that he will be reported of his actions to the authorities.
If the bully goes as so far as harming you physically, to the point of getting into real danger, then you have the right to defend yourself. Don't fight back unless the bully strikes you down first.

right, yes. will it do any good, probably not. bullys are cowards by nature. so his intimadation is usually bcuz he enjoys the sense of power he gets from pushing others around. find some other people he's bullied, get them all together and jump him. he'll feel so weakened and ashamed, he'll never bother you again. punching him will usually just reinforce his demented behavior. ignoring him won't help so use my suggestion and get about 10 people to beat the crap out of him.

Violence begets violence. This bully should be reported to the police, and/or his/her family. Take this person to task the legal way, as hitting them only lowers you to their level. You could also get a worse beating next time and it will just spiral out of control.

No. Violence is not the answer to taunting words. You should go to a teacher or parent if you are being bullied.
In many states it does not matter who hit who first; both individuals get charged with assult.

Bullies back down once they realize you aren't afraid of them, if you stand up to him, he may hit you, then you have the right to kick his butt. Or you could pay a bigger person to do it for you. (Just kidding)
