Yes, an empathic yes! I do a great deal of video editing and AnyDVD shines. AnyDVD is commonly used for backup your DVD movies on to a hard drive or DVD media. AnyDVD easily decrypts all copy protected DVD movies. I tend to be very stingy but AnyDVD is one product I wouldn't mind putting out money to buy. But don't take my word for it, go to BetaNews.com. BetaNews.com hosts all sort of software programs and allows users to rank the item as well as write a short review. AnyDVD on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest, scored 4.6 from 593 votes (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/AnyDVD/1057642382/1). You can visit their site and read the individual reviews and remarks. There is a 21 day trial period for you to test out AnyDVD. There are no restrictions during the trial period, not like other cripple-ware. I have yet to come across a DVD movie that couldn't be decrypted by AnyDVD, where other similar programs have failed.

Absolutely! The suite of software that SLYSOFT produces (previously marketed by Elby) is excellent!

1) They provide unconditional free trial to evaluate for YOURSELF if it works for you
2) They provide excellent support through the user forums
3) They are constantly updating the software for new features/functions!
