Of course they do. Most people are visited by loved ones after they passed away, although they may not admit it to anyone (or even to themselves). I have lived in haunted houses. The home I have now is haunted. It makes life interesting and there's nothing to fear.

Newton said that energy can not be destroyed, but simply changes form. Taking into consideration that we are energy, where does that energy go once our body expires? Does that energy move without a body to heaven? If you believe that possibilty, why is it outlandish to believe that the same energy can remain on earth? There are many things in this world that is invisible to our eyes yet real (such as radio waves, maginetism, electricity). I think that science has not yet found a way to prove that what we call "ghosts" exist. Since many people believe that death and religion are connected, there isn't a real demand for these type of answers.
Ghosts, spirits and poltergeists? Each seem to have the same meaning, but suggest different personalities. I think you will find that those same personalities are found in the human race as well. I do believe in the possibilty that "ghosts" exists, and am excited about learning more as technology advances.

I believe that ghosts & poltergeists do exist. The difference between them is that ghosts do not try to scare you by saying "BOO" and they do not try to annoy you by turning on and off the lights, moving your personal belongings and slamming doors.

In general, when a person (or animal) dies, the spirit immediately crosses over into the white light. Sometimes, and for a variety of reasons, these spirits avoid the light and remain earthbound. Sometimes they stay because they suffered a violent death and they are traumatized and confused. Sometimes they stay to protect a family, a person or property. Sometimes they stay because they do not feel worthy to cross over. In time, they will all make it to the other side.

A ghost becomes a poltergeist when it is highly confused and agitated and he/she is trying to scare the living out of "their" place. In general, this is pretty rare.

If you believe that you have a ghost or poltergeist in your home or place of work, try to talk to it. Tell them that they are no longer among the living which is why they cannot be seen or heard. Tell them to ask God to take them home. Tell them to look for and follow the light. Tell them to look for loved ones. Sometimes this will work the first time and sometimes it takes time for the spirit to accept it.

As a side note, not all ghost stories are scary or have bad endings. There was one ghost story about a single mother who was struggling and her grandmother passed away. Her grandmother left her the house. When she moved in and she tried to make the home her own, she had to decide what stayed and what went.

There were a few paintings on the wall that she really did not care for. She took them down and planned to sell them or give them away. As she slept that night, she woke up "feeling" her grandmother. She saw a glow in the living room so she walked out there. The glow disappeared into one of the paintings. She turned on the lights and examined the painting very closely. She felt a lump in the back of the painting. When she removed the backing, she found $10,000 stashed in the painting. She checked the other paintings and she ended up with about $30,000 in cash.

I hope this helps.

Yes they do. Ghosts are just souls who have not yet crossed over to the Light. Sometimes they are just letting you know that their OK where they are. If you believe in Jesus you must believe in Ghosts and spirits. After all He rose from the dead and appeared to his people.

Some people believe so, like me. Ive never seen one, but my mom and a girl I work with both told me stories of ghosts that theyve experienced, and I know they would never lie to me about that

Yes, I firmly believe they do. I was quite sceptical myself, but when I saw a friend of mine who passed away about 7 years agoin my room I had solid proof.

The strange thing was he had gone missing for 4 days and was eventually reported missing to his wife the second day. I saw him in my room on the third day and I kind of knew he had passed over. By the 5th day his body was found by the police.

Its one of those things unless you experience it first hand yourself, its difficult to believe or comprehend. But in answer to your question, yes I do believe that there is more to this existence that we can see.

Yes I've seen spirits before but I can understand those who have not experienced them not believing in them.
