Well your cat most definately knows something that you don't. It could involve that old man, or it couldn't. Something definately freaked the poor animal out. I don't know... I trust my kitty about things like that. If she doesn't like someone I tend to not like them much either. Haha... she's my tester for boyfriends... if she acts all sweet around the guy then I figure he's all right, but if she spazzes out and hisses at him I usually don't let it go too far..

Perhaps the man just had bad karma. My cat hated my neighbour - her fur would puff up and she would hiss like crazy everytime he came round. Turned out the b*stard was molesting his niece. Somehow the cat just knew he was bad news.

With a cat it coudl be that the man moved funny, or a bug flew by the window, or maybe because the cat was bored. Wth cats you never know....

He's a cat, who knows? My cat gets what I call "fat tail" and hisses at absolutely nothing that I can see, for no apparent reason, I'd love to spend a day inside her head.

Because cats can sense negative energy. The old man probably was sad or angry or just had too much negative energy .Cats don't like negative energy. So that's why your cat reacted like that.

Apparently something outside frightened him. It wasn't necessarily the man getting off the bus however. It may have been something you didn't notice.
