This is a tough question. I guess you have to know what the definition of sin is. Personally I think that we need to take all things in moderation. Anything taken into excess can become addictive, and I personally think that addiction is harmful, therefore sinful. I'm not going to get into the moral implications of masturbation, but can tell you this. It can be addictive, even to the point of not wanting to have sex with another person. If you get tho this point, then well, you probably won't have a happy relationship.
Thoughts become feelings, feelings become actions, actions become habits, and habits become your personality. Good luck on this one!

It makes me laugh when I read Christians claiming that masturbation is a sin because their body is a temple. Last time I went to church it was packed with people so fat many of them could barely fit in the pews. Body a temple? It's a damn big temple for some of them.
It's not a sin, no one cares, almost everyone does it. Stop worrying.

Yes masturbation is a sin, why? o.k our bodies are composed of flesh therefore when we experience a sensation that feels good or satisfying it becomes in printed in our mines. There is a big problem that if you serve God the apostle Paul says if your burning to get married , because its better to marry then to burn or be aroused. The other problem is that when masturbating one has to think of a another person to get aroused and that's where lust comes in witch is a sin .

No. Search your heart. Does masturbation hurt anyone? If you had to confess to your spouse that you masturbated when you were younger, would they care?

according to the bible, spilling your seed upon the ground is a sin. or not having actual sex with someone of the opposite sex is a sin.

YES...in the 10 commandments God prohibibits ADULTRY or having sex or pretending to without your SPOUSE. IF u have been baptized then ur body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit. therefore it should be respected.
