What is real? Is infinity real?

Do you prefer the darkness to the light?

The concept of infinity is a concept and nothing more. It enables us to calculate but there is no evidence that this infinity is actually in existence as there inevitably has to be an upper limit to all things as there inevitably has to be a lower limit. How infinitely small can a number be before it reaches 0?

When a schizophrenic see a person in front of him that nobody else sees, is that person real? I ask that since some people pretend to justify the existence of something just because you can imagine it, the only real thing in such case in our imagination. If you can imagine infinity that doesn't make it real.

Infinity is what you said so far, a concept. A concept is a product of our thoughts and imagination, such concept can be an abstraction of reality, but not always. I do not think infinity has been proven to exist outside our minds, it's used conceptually to explain many things and it's used in math to represent reality, that doesn't mean it's reality.

Is infinity real? I don't know, if we understand "real" as having a physically existence or being verifiable, I don't think it's been proven, the universe being infinite ain't a proven fact. Not being able to count the stars in the sky as proof of infinity's existence is simple childish. We can conceptually prove infinity, I don't think anyone has proven it in reality.

Do you prefer the darkness to the light? Both, with moderation,

So your question is what is truth or Eternal truth and do we believe what we know to be reality or do we question the truth of accepted truth without challenging it. Truth/reality has to be there because if someone says, "there is no absolute truth," then they are affirming that there is an absolute truth somewhere because they have made a definitive statement of their truth and reality. Infinity/forever is real due to a circle. It goes around and around without stopping and doesn't quit. Reality is only as real as the faith you put into it being real. And lastly, no I prefer the light because in the darkness it is harder to see the reality I want to see and live in.

I think infinity is real. If some one ask how many stars in the sky. I say many. This many defines the infinity. Something which cannot be measured or counted is infinity.

your brain thinks about the infinity, Is that real or not.....

Show you infinity? Take space itself, for example. It goes on forever, does it not? Wether or not all that space is filled with something remains to be seen, but it can't just stop, can it? What would be there, a brick wall? Then what would be behind it? A sign that says "Universe ends here, mind your step"? Infinity is the only option that makes any sense, wether you can fully grasp it or not.

I think so, because if you lie to yourself long enough you will begin to think it is the truth. However, I think you are aware of the truth all the time whether you aknowledge it or not.
