My Mexican husband is having a hard time getting a work permit for the United States. I'm an American citizen with a job working through phone line and internet, and I could live anywhere. But a place like Mexico is out of the question because they have bad phone lines/internet connections, and don't have any jobs for my husband anyway, though he's a great production worker, also great working with sound systems. What country would be easy for us to live and work out of, with no complicated immigration policies?

Come to Canada, there are lots of jobs, and we welcome people from all nations. People of different nationalities live together, work together and do their best to accept each other's ways. We have a pretty decent medical system, and we have some of the best Internet coverage in the world. Also, there was a recent news story that Canada is looking to Mexico for people to come up here work (not as underpaid laborers) as we have too many jobs to fill. Good Luck.

I just read the other day from a guy in mexico, here on Answers, there are tons and tons and tons of jobs there for Mexicans. If you take one as an American, you get paid less, pay more in stores if your not Mexican, and a whole host of other inequalities.

I think you should think more about how Mexico deals with Americans there that aren't tourists a little more.

Yeah I have a friend who married someone from out of the country and it took three years before they could get her husband here. Canada and Australia mat be somewhat easier and less confusing.

If you are a citizen of America isn't he one now too since he married you? I don't know how that works. Why don't you just tell him to sneak over here and use fake papers like the rest of them?

My fathers married to a foreigner.

Consult a immigration lawyer, and it shouldn't be that hard to get his papers to work and live here.
