That is not a good way to lose weight. When you fast, your body shuts down and stops burning calories. Then, when you eat the next day, your body stores every single calorie because it doesn't know when it will be fed again.
Eat several smaller meals throughout the day instead of three big ones. Your body will constantly be burning calories by digesting food, and you won't have to feel hungry.
That being said, I don't know that you should lose any weight. At 5' 9" and 115, unless you have an extremely small frame, you're at the right place IF you haven't started to develop "curves." If you have them, you really should weigh 125 - 135.
Exercise can help tighten up your stomach if that really bothers you, but remember, not everyone looks like the people in the magazines.

Just eat healthy and do the exercises. Fasting a day may sound like the way to go but it can lead to worse things. Better to diet properly and exercise to flatten that stomach. Start the crunches slowly say 5 at first, then gradually increase - a couple more once or twice a week then stay at that number for a week. When you get to say 20, what's comfortable, then do it a twice per day. Take note that your stomach is going flat.

Take some ginger to burn the accumulated fats. If u skip meal, while hungry in d day, u could be more agressive, u wont think straight and u will be very weak. If u dont wanna eat, then get filled with lots of friuts. Avoid alvocado pear cos its very fatening.Push in ur tommy through out the day or Try wearing a belly chain, it helps to control how u push in or out the tommy. Pls dont starve. Good luck

5'9" and 115 is a very nice weight and you shouldn't be concerned about how you look with those numbers.
It is terrible to not eat anything for an entire day, you will inevitably overeat at some point later to compensate for this.
You might think about doing some weight training to help put some shape into your thin frame...that might make you feel better about how you look in a swimsuit. But the last thing you need to do is starve yourself.

Actually by skipping meals your body then goes into survival mode and stores as many calories as possible because it's being deprived. If you eat 6 smaller meals a day and exercise in moderation then it will speed up your metabolism and allow you to shed pounds in a healthier way. Starving yourself is definatly not a good way to "lose weight" and if your 5'9 and 115lbs you're not over weight. GOODLUCK!

This will never work, you will end up getting weight. Because when you eat nothing your body tries to save energy and you don't burn fat, and then it stores whatever you eat the next day. So if you want your metabolism to work you need to eat regularly, often, healthy low fat foods and exercise regularly.

no never go without eating....that makes you hungrier the next day , so even if you don't notice it you'll eat twice as much as you would have if you had eaten the day before...So you need to eat just eat 6 small meals which will fill you up and be spaced out during the day....Really important don't eat after 5.00 p.m in the afternoon...Eating late at night is what really puts the weight on....then exercise your butt off......Good Luck

Dumb move. Your body will just horde any calories you eat and you'll GAIN weight.
Do ab exercises every day. Don't chew gum. Skip the soda. Skip any salty foods (chips, fries, pizza, etc.) Drink lots of water. You'll be less bloated.

i'd say you have an eating disorder if you are considering skipping meals, in fact i suspect you already are skipping meals and just looking for some validation. at 5'9" and 115lbs. at 16 i'd say you are too thin and could be effecting your development, remember you are still a girl, even though you feel like a "mature" woman. you are developing both mentally and physically and are at risk for future health problems (and mental too!) seek help!
