This is going to sound weird, but put some duct tape on the wart. I kid you not. Cut a piece of duct tape to cover the wart completely. Stick it on there. DO NOT CHANGE IT. When it falls off in a couple of days, put more on. It can take a couple of weeks, but it should work.

That's terrible, I have the same thing with a wart on my finger. It survived chopping it out and 2 freezing treatments.

Check out if it could possibly be a plantar corn, you can do a google image search and see... a corn will still have the lines/texture of your foot showing through. A wart will be more smooth. But your best bet is the duct tape--there was a medical journal article a few years ago that compared freezing vs. duct tape and the tape worked just as well or better. Good luck, it's a long process!

I had a planters wart last year and it took me 7 acid treatments before I got rid of it. Perhaps you're not giving it enough treatments. Sounds like it's really persistent. Keep trying.....)(

Perhaps it's something other than a Planter, ask next time to have a biopsy performed on the tissue that is removed. If it is that persistent, find a respectable dermatologist who is board certified MD and see Doctor #5.

Zippy is right. I had this one wart on my finger for 2 years. I had cut that finger one day so I applied a band-aid. The sticky part of the band -aid was covering my wart for about a week. When I removed the band-aid, my wart was starting to go away. So use something with some kind of adhesive, it must cut off the oxygen to that area and kill it off.

there are three things you can do:
1. buy a medicine for the wart
2. put duck tape on it
3.get a thin string and tie the wart real hard

Believe it or not my mother got rid of hers by keeping duct tape on it for several months. She would change the tape at least daily.

You can try liquid nitrogen treatments from a dermatologist or just have it burned off surgically.

Have you had it frozen off? My son and daughter both have had to deal with them and that ended up being to only thing that worked. Good luck!!!!!
