They wouldn't look good at all!!!!! Try using natural lighter brown or even a deep red. It would look gorgeous.
And don't use those streaking kits. They ussually look bad. Get your hair done at a salon, or if you have a friend who is a hair dresser ask them if they can help you do it your self.

I did this three in my whole life.... like once a year or less often than that. Don't do it too much or your hair will be badly damaged. And don't EVER double-bleach... meaning, don't bleach it AFTER it's been bleached or you could get a darker than before blonde. Best to bleach dirty hair... don't wash or use conditioner or any product for a day before you bleach. Just do ONE bleaching process for the MAXIMUM amount of time reccomended in the directions of the bleaching kit you're using... it could be around 90 mins. ONLY do the Max time if your hair is dark brown to black. Mine came out yellow the first time.... if you keep the bag on your head and you use a little bit of heat (if you're at home, sit under a lamp) because heat hastens the bleaching process... HOWEVER, do not blow dry it unless you want to be bald. You don't want to DRY the bleach or the hair... you want to make sure it stays moist. In fact, don't worry about the heat too much, just keep the plastic bag over hair and it will stay warm. To keep it moist you can reapply the bleach halfway thru the waiting process..... if you keep that bag on, it should stay moist, so don't take it off for too long and be sure to tie or wrap it on tight. The first time I did it, it was a full blonde head of hair. The second time, it was a few thick stripes (which I then colored pink) and the third (more recent time) it was half and half... which I kept blond for a while and then turned the other half purple. My favorite was the STRIPES.... just five little pony tails at tied at the roots and pulled thru the tiny holes of the styling cap (a plastic cap w/ holes to highlite stripes or chunks of hair). It's important to use the styling cap or you will get sploches of bleach on the dark parts of the hair that you do not intend to bleach. Anyway, It looked cool blonde, but it looked even cooler pink or any wild color. Check out PUNKY COLOUR. And about DAMMAGE... after you bleach, you can repair the damage w/ a RECONSTRUCTOR called DUMB BLONDE by TIGI/Bed Head. Keratin is the important ingredient in any RECONSTRUCTOR. If you color it after bleaching, repair and wait a good week before you put new color in.

well first mistake...never bleach your own hair!! you should always go to a salon to get that done. unless you dont mind having bald spots. lol. blond highlights wouldnt look bad on you as long as they are thin & not chunky...and make sure they use a toner so your highlights dont turn out white. good luck.

Why would you want to do that? Go for a natural vibrant color like a caramel. That would compliment you a alot better and you won't look like a skank!
